About Me!
Caitlyn Townsend was raised in the small town of New Bern, North Carolina. With New Bern’s booming theatre and live music presence, She was destined to be engulfed into the theatre scene herself. Starting community theater at age 8, Caitlyn now goes on to achieve a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater for Young Audiences from East Carolina University. (Go Pirates!)
Caitlyn is very passionate about educational theatre as she believes the younger generation of theatre goer’s are the future themselves. She hopes to inspire young and adult minds while also creating a sense of understanding to difficult topics seen in today’s world. She also believes in engaging and collaborating with diverse artists and audiences alike.
Outside her love for theater, Caitlyn also enjoys hanging out with friends, thrifting, pets, and grocery shopping. (Cause you can never have enough)
