Caitlyn Townsend is originally from the small town Coventry, Rhode Island but she was raised the majority of her life in another… small town; New Bern, NC.

She currently attends East Carolina University where she is working towards her BFA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre for Young Audiences and hopes to graduate spring 2026! (Go Pirates!)

Caitlyn’s love for performing and live theatre started when she saw a local production of The Little Mermaid jr. and was hooked ever since. She started performing at age 8 when she was cast in a local production of Shrek: The Musical Jr. as Goldie Locks in the ensemble.

Caitlyn strives to be a positive example for young theater enjoyers and young performers. She hopes to bring positivity and truth to her work for children and adults alike. Aside from her theatrical endeavors, Caitlyn enjoys reading, coloring, video games, and Love Island USA which she watches with her best friend! She also loves Cats and a Diet Coke with lemon!
